Heritage Hill residents enjoy making wall décor in the Crafty Corner Club! Ali Karamanol, retired art therapist, and Josephine Amoroso are in charge of the club, where they regularly help the residents make different crafts that get put on display on the walls of the activity lounge. The Crafty Corner Club meets every Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. The club this week was focused on creating lovely matted flowers for May, to celebrate the springtime weather!

Volunteer Appreciation Party

May 1st, 2012

We appreciate our wonderful volunteers who selflessly share their time and talents with us! We recently held an appreciation party to recognize each volunteer who means so much to us. During the party, we found out that two of our residents had a special connection to Father Floyd Caesar! He knew our Mary 38 years ago in Catasaqua and said she had been an inspiration to him when deciding to enter into the priesthood! He also had a connection with Margaret when he noticed a photo of an old friend, Betty, in her room and found out that Betty was Margaret’s sister! It truly is a small world and having such lovely people in our lives makes such a difference. Thank you again!
